Notice:  There is only ONE week of try-outs...according to GA HS lacrosse...therfore by the end of the first week, you will meet with all of the coaches and discuss positives and things that need improvement.  IF offered a spot on the lacrosse team, the player will sign a contract and then will be told where she is being placed and why (JV or V).

2007 Season

 

Welcome to the third season of Alpharetta Women’s Lacrosse!  Since this is a team sport, it essential that each of us realizes the importance of dedication when playing lacrosse.  Each day your presence is valuable to us as we need you each and every day of our season.  Therefore, if you miss more than 3 practices or games for unexcused purpose, you will not be allowed to continue participating in our program and you will be removed from the roster without a refund in accordance with our bi-laws.

 

 

 

What is UNEXCUSED???

 

Doctor appointments, driver education classes, and SAT preparation classes are not considered excused because they can be scheduled around our season and schedule.  Unless you have a family emergency, family vacations are not considered excused.

 

 

 

Is anything EXCUSED???

 

An absence related to a core curriculum course will be considered excused.  In other words, players who are enrolled in a core curriculum class that requires after school meetings for a grade will be excused.  If you are involved in any other extra curricular activity that will interfere with practice or games you must make a decision and commit to one or the other.

 

 

 

Why is this IMPORTANT?

 

In an effort to maintain a level of commitment necessary to work towards excellence, your coaches have asked that you agree to this contract.  We feel that this policy sets equality for every lacrosse talent.  We want to provide a fair, safe, and focused environment to work on developing fundamental and organized lacrosse.  Again, your presence is valuable to usJ
